Yuxin Peng - 彭羽鑫
Hi there! I am Yuxin Peng (he/him), a research assistant at Deep Machine Vision lab at Oregon State University, advised by Dr. Fuxin Li. I graduated from
Grinnell College with a B.A. in Computer Science in December 2024, advised by Dr. Jerod Weinman.
I am broadly interested in the intersection of machine learning and neuroscience. More specifically, I hope to understand how brain encodes perceptual and experiential information and how we might extract these perceptions and expriences.
I am also interested in brain stimulation technologies and how they can be used to recreate experiences. As an amateur photographer and filmmaker,
I envision a future where we can preserve, share, and re-live meaningful moments in completely new ways. I am equally exctied about the forms of storytelling such technologies unlock.
